Those going to SEMA...
Those going to SEMA...
Might be on the lookout for a possible release of the new Bullitt. I know two people, one who owns a '68 replica and the other guy a very low number '01 Bullitt that are having their cars taken to SEMA by Ford for a "display".

Being the self appointed ultimate authority on the Bullitt, I've been expecting TMS to provide an all expense trip to SEMA. I wonder why Brad hasn't called?
I am sure it must be that he has yet to locate the five star accomodations which would meet my prestigeous requirements.

From the Ponysite:

BULLITT 2008
coming soon in your rear mirror
"Nothing beats the mystery of a hidden Bullitt. With true McQueen attitude, Ford keeps it in his secret barn as long as possible. If we would not know better, we'd think . . the thing is a no show st SEMA, but since true Bullitt enthusiasts enjoy the thrill, Ford is well adviced to cover it up as long as possible".
Ok boys and girls! It's time to for your cookies and milk!

if I do take a laptop with me it will have a wireless card, I hope I can sign on somewhere, I dont think it will be too hard to do so in Vegas but I dont know never tried, Ill have to try while still on the strip I am staying at a house near Summerland
rrobello, you mean Summerlin? I'm out that way too. I'll be able to upload my pics every night, at least. I could always run in to work and do it from here too I guess, if I have to take a break from all to cool stuff around.
hmm, no show after all?

"Yep, it's true the BULLITT 2008 is a no show at the SEMA and we are sorry, but decisions can be revised at any time.
We've got confirmation. In order not to distract from the Edge and other new cars and modified cars, Ford decided not to launch it at the SEMA. Now let's wait in patience for the NYAS"

Looks like the '68 is shipping from CA this coming Sunday and the '01 probably a few days earlier. I do know the '01 is all polished up and ready to go. Hopefully by the end of next week the waiting will be over.

I assume everyone has seen the pictures of the Ford Accesories SEMA car in the S197 exterior thread? That looks like it could be a starting point for the Bullitt. Also, it seems that the car is sporting slightly larger brakes. Here is the http://forums.bradbarnett.net/showthread.php?t=55374
