Has anyone cleaned this thing up yet?

 

this is exactly what i am talking about. a base suspension on a 20k car such as the mustang v6 is not going to have world class suspension geometry! it will not matter how much you lower the car, or how tight your shocks/struts and springs are the suspension geometry will not change on a very nice albiet cheap car! why settle? would you not like to have pure sports car handling on your mustang? handling like the 997?
if ford could get the relationship of the gc and roll axis in line the car could remain flat in corners, without losing travel or switching out to stiffer springs!

What Was Ford Thinking Bringing the Black Bullitt! GREEN will be the Color of Choice! It will be a Piece o cake to Clone the Black Version Though! Good For My Business! I would Guess 80% of The Bullitts will be Green! Most of the Black ones will be ordered by Less Informed Dealers as Stock Units or for the Few Special Orders that Want Black! BTMO!

 

Try to order the serial number plate.

 

The black will sell to those who don't care about the origin of the car or want a super-sleeper. I must admit, it's pretty stealthy looking and may have a broader appeal than first thought.

 

Does anyone else remember Henry Ford's quote: "You can have it in any color so long as it's black!"
Ford has a certain 'history' with the color black (think Centennial editions) so it makes perfect sense to offer the Bullitt in black. At least they didn't bring back the True Blue, which had nothing to do with Bullitt or Ford.

I, for one, would order the Black Bullitt if I could swing it right now.

 

It may or May Not Be Available. I already Have a Part Number. That Does not mean you Can Order it though. My 02 Harley F150 Has a Serialized Plate in the Console and I have ordered those. But they Just do Not Have the VIN Engraved. Anyhoo, I was Just Referring to Outward Appearance not trying To Pass off a Gt as a Legit BULLITT. BTW I see by your sig are Quite The Black Bullitt Fan! Enjoy Your 08! BTW ,I did not mean to Ruffle any Black Bullitt Fans Feathers, I just Prefer The Highland Green! Seen that Movie too Many Times! Also Since Highland Green is New to the S197 Platform I think Ford Should Have Taken that Car for Greater SHOW IMPACT! Thats What I meant By What was Ford Thinking! Should Have Had a Pair!
