New Bullitt on the Modular Depot Dyno
Just wanted to let you guys know we had a new Bullitt on our dyno today. Unfortunately our rpm pickup broke so no torque reading. made 273 rwhp VERY rich. Will post pics tonight. Im at PRI so I wasnt there. Posting from my phone.

bummer
I'm pretty sure my stock 07 GT put down somewhere around 27_ rwp when it was dynoed to 550 miles on it...
I'm not positive, but i think that was the number...If so, that's not very impressive for even the modest gains advertised...

To be fair, dyno numbers should really be tested several times due to varying conditions. If a stock 300 crank hp gt was being put at 27_ something... I don't know... that sounds high given a 15-18% drivetrain loss.
I'm pretty sure a stock GT is around 250hp or so with 18% loss, but that could be COMPLETELY wrong, haha. I need to check.

It was dynoed at a dyno day event at a local mustang shop and I do remember that there were alot of guys with 05 and 06's who were impressed by the numbers. It was the first time I had ever seen anything dynoed, mine or not, so I had no idea.
The dyno operator said that he had been seeing that the 07s were putting down a good bit more to the rear wheels that the 05-06s. Not real sure why, as there was no advertised increase in power, but who knows...

what is the rpm pickup? does that read the rpms from the motor? if it could not read rpms from the motor how can it read power at certain rpms, and fuel ratio at certain rpms? could this lead to misleading a/f ratio? i have no clue as to any of this, just asking quesitons.
this was the dyno i saw earlier. i assume this dyno is on the 93oct.

not sure im supposed to say where it came from. the rpm pickup will not effect the HP reading. A/F was in the 10s. I wasnt there so not sure what fuel but i would guess 93. posting from my phone which is a pita. ill try and post more when i get back from the gentlemans club. i love PRI

A late model Mustang with manual trans loses about 12-15% through the driveline, so 274 rwhp is about 311-321 at the crank, so it's right on target. Run that Bullitt a little leaner and it'll be 320-330 at the crank easily!

if its running 87. on 87oct it should make 315. with 93 it should dyno higher correct?

Dyno numbers are very hard to compare. I would like to see numbers from a bone stock Gt on the same day and on the same dyno to get a fair comparison. The hp number quoted in this thread does sound about right however.
