I've checked the Bullitt registry and saw #1140 and #1142, but not #1141. #1141 is my badge number and I thought if I could find out who owns it and if they ever wanted to sell it down the road I'd be very interested. Stupid huh????? Oh well, I'd like to find #1141 if I could. Any help would be appreciated. I still think I'll end up with a GT500 when it's all said and done, but I still have a real fondness for the Bullitt. Thanks guys

 

Check over on IBMOC site. Ask the site owner and/or moderators. I can tell you that It is alive and well and running the streets of PA. But there are restriction's over there about data they have on the site.

 

How'd you find out it was in PA? I appreciate the info. I emailed the IBMOC this morning. We will wait and see. Thanks for your info.

 

I didn't see 1141 in the '08 registry over there, only the '01 registry????

 

That was the first place I checked.....................it's not there.

 

Even though its not listed with a registered member, They may have the serial and VIN info. Lot's of people have provided the info to them as they see them for sale on Ebay or at dealer lots.

IBMOC emailed me saying sorry..............they said it hasn't been registered. I know it wasn't registered with them because I checked it myself. Does anyone know who I could email or call to find out this information.........could a dealer look up this information?

If they'd come up with a way to Register without requiring membership it would solve some of that

 

How would it solve it? The registry that you can access to see the numbers is simply the membership registry. The people keeping up with the registry also have the VIN and serial numbers on non-member cars that they can get the info for. They just dont list them. We've manged to get lots of them from Ebay, Autotrader and just tracking down cars. By the way, the site owner is not the one who keeps up with the serail numbers and VIN's. He doesn't have any of that information. Its kept up with by a member.

I'll be glad to pass on your info with a pic of your sticker or serial number plate. You won't have to sign up.

I'm not sure why signing up as a registered member is a big deal. If its because of membership fees, they are strictly voluntary.

 

Membership fee's are just a way to HELP maintain a Site you like to use. Same as here. If you use it, why not support it?
