With no tuning there won't be the gas gussler tax so that will save you $1000. so 33K.

I gotta believe/hope that it's lower than $34K. But it probably won't be much lower.

$33.5K. That would place it ~ half way between the GT/CS and the Shelby GT.

The ADMs on the GT/CSs and the Shelby GTs lasted for just about four weeks, combined, to Ford's, Shelby Autos', and the dealers' dismay. Unfortunately for the prices gaugers the market is saturated with "special-one-in-a-lifetime-editions". Saleen, Roush, Steeda, Foose, and the rest of the Mustang aftermarket troops are faring no different.

With the exception of the GT500, it is a buyers market.

The Bullitt has a good following, including myself, but there is not enough devotion to pay GT500 money for a dressed up GT. It's irreverent whether dealers try because without a doubt, they will. What's important is succeeding.

As I stated on another topic, a 390hp 2004 SVT Cobra went for $35,320.

It makes me sick seeing GT's and GT/CS's at or above $30k. The Shelby GT is between $35k-$38k.

Its just getting insane, and the value isn't there.

I think it'll be a package on top of the GT.

So like before (and this is in canadian dollars) I THINK the package was 4995 dollar option on top of the GT.

Yeah, here in the Great White North, I would expect it to sell for around $46K.

You're probably right about the price. The original Bullitt was over $5000 that of a regular GT (I still own one with 1200 miles on the clock). A rough figure of $5000 over a full-load GT will undoubtedly put you close to the price of the Bullitt. And that's a whole lot of cash for what you're not getting, if the preliminary details are correct. I sure hope Ford surprises everyone with this car..................

Bullitt package was $3600 over a stock GT. Most people got them at MSRP 26K and change. 7 years later, a new body style, an engine with 42 more HP over 01, and inflation all contribute to put and additional $1400 on to the price of the package. Even if the 08 only has the same mods as in 01 it is still not a bad deal at 34K. Sure you can purchase all of the FR parts under this price but it doesn't take into account the cosmetic mods and the exclusivity (numbered).

Bullitt values are a full $1000 over stock Gts (KBB) and will at some point in the future begin going back up a GT not going to happen.

The actual sale price depends on the car's mileage and the care it has received. I sold mine for $3K more than the '01 GT KBB value.

Even funnier is those "390" hp Cobra's generally hit 360RWHP on dynojets, meaning they were more like 425 crank hp.

Do you imagine if it is a package that you will have to have an expensive GT Premium with all the addons, or will this be available on lower end GT Deluxe's and cheaper Premium versions? I'm not sure how it worked on the older models.

01 was a stock GT with a $3600 upgrade package. I don't think there were different GT levels in 01.
