First Mods on the Bullitt....Pics Inside

So we have had the car exactly one week, and the mod bug could not be held off any longer......

Bullitt / Billit Power Point Plug.....

Next Up, Bullitt / Billit Cup Holder Bezel.....

Last, but certainly not least, The Tint is on.....

So we are already looking at the next mod, which will probably freak out most of the "Bullitt Purists", but we shall see.

So let us know what you think of the progress thus far.....

Nope.....All of those you mentioned I would love to see on a Bullitt, but not bad enough to go that radical on my Wife's.....

The funny thing is, when we first started looking for her car, I told her I could do a GT500 spoiler on it easily, and she was sold......Until she got the car. Now she is solidly in the "spoiler delete" crowd.....

Here's a huge tip off....Neither of us are too terribly crazy about honeycomb.....

Thx,
Mike and Karen

My first mod was tinted windows, I am thinking of installing a aluminum driveshaft & FR shifter. I have a custom set of fuel rails and plenum covers coming Maybe this week

What company are you going with? That honeycomb is a PITA to clean/ dry off.

I'm not sure of the brand or company yet. I found one on ebay and have been conversing with the seller. It's exactly like the Shelby grille except it's black billit and not chrome.

OK, so the conversing is over... We pulled the trigger on the billit grille.....Now, all I have to do is figure out how to transfer the trim ring to the new grille.....Here are a couple of crappy pics of the soon to be new Bullitt grille......

Go to your nearby auto parts store and pick up some silver door trim. Thats about the easiest way of migrating the trim from the stock Bullitt grille to another grille.

Do you happen to know how the factory Bullitt trim ring attaches to the factory grille??

Thx,
Mike

That is sweet and not too adverse from the Bullitt style.
Definitely get some trim instead of hacking up the factory grill. (If it doesn't just snap off and on with no modification.) That would give you an easy option to go back to stock.

Wonder how the cupholder would look with the engine turned finish like the dash?

I may be wrong but I don't think the trim is designed to come off of the Bullitt grille.
