Bullitt suspension
So the Bullitt rides a bit lower than the GT. Did Ford design new LCA's and panhard bar to account for the change? How do they adjust for the change in pinion angle?

The drop was most likely within the design specs in such a way that a different panhard bar was not needed. I assume this was an engineering expense Ford did not want to incur.

There are 2 "frame rail connectors" on the S197 chassis that essentially perform the same as subframe connectors. Many have questioned how effective a bolt-on connector was with the SN-95 car as compared to something welded in place. However, it was probably better than leaving it be.

Some of what is on the Bullitt apparently will make it to FRPP

I found that the 2001 Bullitt was the best handling Mustang I ever drove. It out-braked and out-handled my 2003 Cobra in my opinion, so perhaps the subframe connectors played a role here. Can't comment on the S197, as I haven't taken delivery yet (soon!!).

I experienced the opposite with the '04 Cobra vs the '01 Bullitt which I had at the same time for approximately one year.

didn't the '03 Cobra come with sub frame connectors?

The coupe did not have them but I don't know if the verts had them or not. I would assume they did since my wife's '02 GT vert had them.

My memory appears to be failing me so your thoughts are probably correct. Did you find any reference as to the '03/'04 Cobras having IRS or did they have a solid axle?
