You won't regret getting rid of the 05 vert for the Bullitt!
I got rid of a heavy modified 07 Mustang GT for my Black Bullitt and I have no regrets !
It's a Better all around car! Better handling , more comfortable, More fun, And it takes alot more beer to get it waxed!!!!!!

Introducing Bullitt 5747

Well here she is....Bullitt 5747

First Impressions

The exhaust sounds awesome, the pickup is great. I'll miss my black vert, but the Bullitt is cool.

Had to play Sheryl Crow's "Steve McQueen" on the way home.

Congrats! I came really close to buying an 08 Bullitt twice a couple of months ago. I do love that exhaust note!

Congrats!
That exhaust note will get a bit louder and more aggressive sounding after about 1000 miles.
You'll love it!

Congratulations! That picture is awesome! I'm surprised you screwed that plate into the bumper too. Very nice looking car.

The exhaust does take about 1,000 miles to break in. I particularly like the back pressure sound of "pop-pa-pop-pop" when slowly decelerating downhill in the 1,800 rpm to 1,200 rpm range. Every time my wife and I take a ride I tell here how much I enjoy this car.

The handling is crisp and the ride is firm. The exhaust note bellowing out of the 3 1/2" exhaust tips is just loud enough to hear it without being obnoxious. I love the clean lines. I just look at the BULLITT without the spoiler and fog lights and say, "This is what the original designers of the S197 Mustang had in mind before other people in the design team came along and started slapping spoilers, fog lights, emblems, and scoops onto the car because it's what most people want."

What a great car! Enjoy!
