Bullitt ADM's...
The dealership I bought my 05 from said no X-Plan and they still hadn't made a decision on ADM yet. They also said they have been "allocated" one. From what I am hearing they can order more as long as they put more mustangs in the system. So the "I'm only getting one so how much are you willing to pay?", isn't going to work.
I am going to call around to other dealers today to see what I can get.

Brian, I ordered 3 Bullitts (2 retail, 1 stock). We should be pretty good to get more. Plus the dealer count now is just a hair over 3,600, so there will be more Bullitts to go around
. We are a small dealer, but we sell lots of Mustangs. The only car that an ADM was added to here was the GT500 (and it was a fair number, well under the $10K mark). When the new Mustangs 1st came out in 2004, and when most everyone was adding to MSRP for regular GT's (especially 5-speeds), we were at MSRP, and people were thankful for it, as most dealers around me were anywhere from 2-10K over. Made me sick!
One of my friends wanted a CS Vert last spring. Told him to get himself an X-Plan PIN number from BON. He did that, and told me it was the easiest deal he's done (and he is the type to haggle under invoice. Once I showed him where X-Plan was, he was elated). I too am glad to work at a dealer who cares about making customers for life.
No according to him it was the decision of the dealership owner. I'll probably have an answer on ADM later today. Of course the guy that greeted me when I walked in had no idea what the Bullitt was so.....
My salesguy was very straightforward and was a honest guy. If anyone wants their info., let me know. But their used car salesguy was peeved that they were using x-plan on my car. My salesguy was like "I don't see the problem with it and neither does the owner." I looked at them both like I was going to leave if they pulled the plug on the x-plan. But, they were overall pretty good in dealing with car. I think my salesguy is just as excited to see a bullitt as I am.
basically, getting a pin number from someone who can issue one will get you the car for invoice plus like 4% above the a-plan. Which is very good. It takes the negotiating out of the deal and gets you a very good price. Dealerships get a little extra for doing x-plan purchases, am I right?
I just got off the phone with a local dealer, who told me "that this is a very limited run and there will probably only be one for each dealer so no Xplan and there will be a surcharge for the car" I said thank you and hung up the phone.
ETA: hey Jeff I keep get responses like this I may fly down and drive home.

X-plan is typically for employees of a Ford partner company (i.e. Microsoft). X-plan is calculated as a percentage over A/Z plan (which are pricing plans for Ford Motor Company employees), but the simplest way to explain how much X-plan works out to is that it is roughly the same as the Invoice Total +/- $100. X-plan = the Invoice Total on rigs that sticker in the low $40k's, and is slightly higher than the Invoice Total on less expensive rigs (slightly lower on more expensive rigs). Bottom line, though, is that it is nearly the same number as the Invoice Total.
X-plan buyers must present their PIN # and often their Proof of Employment for the partner company. X-plan buyers still get the same incentives and rebates as regular buyers.
As a dealership can often sell hot cars like a Bullitt or Shelby for much more than the Invoice Total (or even MSRP), selling on X-plan (and getting the tiny kick back from Ford that's only a few hundred dollars) is often avoided by dealers. However, on very common rigs (Focus, Fusion, Mustang V6, Escapes, F-150, etc.) that are commonly sold around invoice, selling those at X-plan (and getting the kick back from Ford) is often in the dealership's best interest, while still providing a good deal for the customer.

There are dealers out there that will do X/A/Z etc, which is good to see. I ordered mine today on Z-plan. Most of the dealers, in my area, that I spoke with said MSRP. One mentioned a possible ADM, but I was able to find one willing to do Z-plan.
I have not bothered to read this entire thread due to time constraints but I cant imagine an ADM would last long. Limited or not its still just a Mustang with a few goodies. Nothing the Bullitt has could justify a big markup at least in my mind anyway. I would shoot for invoice and let the dealer keep the hold back if it were me. Or, wait a year or so and hope some rebates hit.
I hope you guys get a good deal that you can live with. Thats what really matters.

Stay with your gut. Salesmen in general and dealerships are ignoraontl. I take atvantage of them every chance I get because they are stupid and dont know their products. Tood badd for them. Dont give in to the crooks because that is what most of them are.
Is Ford listeneing? I doubt it and who gives a ****.
