Has anyone seen this picture? Is this a Bullitt clone or a good photoshop?? Has a Saleen license card.

Not the MT car the color is way too dark. I have seen the MT car and it is much lighter than that color. It has the Shelby GT tips.

 

And a Saleen license plate, wonder if they're working on it? And are those LED tail lights? Or is it just that I've never seen them from this angle before?

 

If they are working on it, it wouldn't be on display somewhere. Looks like a Mach1 clone beside it.

No, the MotorTrend car (the right picture) didn't have the Bullitt emblem on the back, the side louvers, side scoops, the exahaust tips, or those wheels.

 

I think those tail lights are soooo cool!! I like them way better than the stock ones!

 

almost looks like my car. i do like the dark grey wheels alot however. i wish we could see the front bumper and grille. they need to take the 01 bullitt badge off of that thing. no need for a label. we know what it is.

 

The B U L L I T badge kills the whole thing. Take it off and it's perfect.

That's a pretty nice clone. All it needs is the Parnelli Jones rear chrome trim and a blacked out panel.

 

I think you may be right. Take a good look at the mirrors on that "Bullitt." They are definitely not stock GT mirrors.

 

Why the rear blackout? The real thing was green throughout.

 

The Mustangs used in the movie Bullitt had the rear panel painted in black. Possibly the same black that was used on the Charger.

 

This seems to be a point of much debate. Screen captures from the movie don't seem to put it to rest either (is it DHG in the shade or black?).

Can anyone reference a reliable source that definitively states whether the car was DHG or black on the rear? I've tried and failed.

 

The fuel cap was painted black, the rear panel between the rear lights was not.

 

I've taken screen caps off of the DVD and it is clearly gloss black on the rear panel. Also, when you color correct and color shift shots of the Bullitt Mustang in PhotoShop the rear is distinctly a different color from DHG.

One interesting thing to note is that the tail light bezels look to be DHG instead of black. Won't know for sure untill I get the HD version of the movie to get some high resolution caps.
