The guy that spotted it claims the front end looked a bit like the Camaro concept.......so I wonder if that's where THIS came from ????!!!????
Either way, I can't wait to see it in detail.

Hmmm, intriguing. Euro styling houses have often done their renditions of American cars, and perhaps that’s what this is. Hard to tell too much from this picture other than it is a lot more voluptuous, in a muscular way, than the current Stang. What, if anything, this bodes for a future production Stang is probably only very general.

hmm.. I highly doubt its the 2010 car... way too soon to see mules on the street, let a lone a fully-dressed produciton model
It could be, however, a teaser for the 2010, maybe to take some press away from the Camaro, maybe it was caught outside before a photoshoot or something.
I like the lines of the car, but not the taillights

Apparently there is more here (if you are a subscriber).
That headline reads >>
Giugiaro Mustang to Bow in L.A.
...which, of course, begs the question: how and why is Giorgetto Giugiaro designing Mustangs for public view? Is it merely a design exercise he undertook on his own? Did Ford back it for publicity reasons? IS this a preview of the next major redesign?
So many questions...and I guess we'll get our answers at L.A.
Hopefully, it's not just another useless publicity-motivated design "exercise" for the "heck of it."

Gotta be honest....I'm not that crazy about it. It definately has some interesting lines, but if that is the 2010 Mustang and I'm in the market for another car at that point, I'd get an 05-09.

New Strategy For Ford Perhaps...
The more I think about it, this could be part of Mulally's new global strategy for Ford. In other words, even though North American market share is falling - and the company may have to accept a tighter, more focused operation in the U.S. and Canada - one way to countervail that is to integrate the best of Ford's platforms, wherever in the world they originate, and leverage them so that they're available worldwide.
So in other words, we may see the next generation Mustang (which is a halo car for the company, after all) as a vehicle carefully designed to appeal to both the North American and European markets...and where it is actually sold in both.

I would imagine this is purely a show car for now, just like the Moray Corvette and Ferrari GG50 before it. HOWEVER, the Giugiaro Alfa Brera was purely a show car to start with and was not an official Alfa project. BUT, it had such a good reception that Alfa decided to put the car into production, albeit with slightly altered proportions.
So, don't get too excited. Yet!

I dunno, to tell you the truth it looks almost fake, but then again it was prob taken with a crappy cell phone camera. The Roof and side panels aren't quite the same shade orange IMO. Plus the line where the roof meets the side of the car is awfully fuzzy.
With that being said, it it is real, should be very interesting when it does get unveiled. I like it minus the gaudy tail lights

I like the lines of that car, but I'd be very surprised if that was going to be the 2010 redesign.
Here's a quick photoshop I did to make the tailights a little more reasonable and to get rid of the guy in front of the car.
