BOSS 330 in motortrend Magazine!!

Anybody got any more info on this?? 389hp and a six speed tranny....Beats the new Z-28 in a lot of areas, Wonder what it will look like.

Yeah, never mind that the Aussie's have been selling a Boss 330 motor for eons now, and Ford N.A. did to, really, with the Cobra R a few years back. But apparently, doing so again has become just too much for poor Ford anymore, poor put upon dears.

If I am seeing this correctly, it would seem that the same set of 3.73 gears that the Camaro has would tip the scales in favor of the Mustang . Maybe 4 valves per cylinder can overcome the difference in cubic inches and the Mustang could consistantly hand the Camaro its butt in the straight - line !

We haven't seen a true big block in a Mustang since 1971. I'm just as sad but no more surprised.
