X-Plan For Shelby GT?

My dealer said the Shelby GT is not eligible. Is this true or dealer BS?

Thanks

True. Even if it was available, a dealer can refuse to offer the X-plan price. This happened when the Mustang GT first came out. Although it was available few dealers would take X-plan price for the GT when they could probably get a lot more for the initial allotments.

How about $500 over invoice or $1000 under MSRP instead? Available at a NY and a Georgia dealer.

Thanks! $500 over invoice seems like a pretty good deal.

Woo hoo! Thanks guys for your help! I ended up getting a sweet deal on a White Shelby GT at my local dealership for X-Plan!

Congrats! Good deal!

I guess I was wrong about the Shelby GT not being available at X-plan (thought I had read that on here that it wasn't eligible). Sorry for the bad info.

I had asked the same question back in Aug

Technically, I don't think the Shelby is eligible, nevertheless, the dealer accepted my PIN, then found out later he would not get any incentives.

I traded my 06, and gave him some concessions when I found out he wasn't going to get any rebates from Ford. Overall, a win-win deal.

Thanks for your help!

Thanks! yes, I picked it up this afternoon. Overall, BIG difference between my 06 GT in terms of power and handling. I think the 06 GTs came standard with higher gears, like 3.31 or something.

3:55's standard. They also feel faster lowered because you are lower(duh) and it doesn't pitch up with stiffer springs. As much as I *****ed and moaned about them, after having a few here, they are friggin cool cars
