I was at my dealer getting my multi-point inspection for me upcoming road trip. I walked around to check out the Grabber Orange Shelby's and noticed that the grille looked weird. Turns out the inner black plastic grille was deleted. What gives? I think it looks a bit weird cuz you see so much orange inside, and it looks unfinished.

What's the reason for that?

 

The 2007 models used the stock grille with the pony cut out, fog lamps removed and fog lamp bezels filed down. It wasn't a good look. The have a grille housing now that looks better.
