Just got my shelby back from Galpin Auto Sports.. Took it to Palmdale best et was 13.1 at 115 mph. With street tires..


im trying to upload pics and a movie, but it wont let, can anyone tell me exactly how to do it? Im thinking the file might be to big is there any way around that?

13.1 for a stock shelby GT on street tires? Pretty darn good if you ask me!

That sounds kind of out of whack to me. The trap speed of 115 suggests something around the mid-12 second bracket! My dealership stock Mach 1 turned a 13.1 @105, and with a 150 shot of nitrous had a best so far of 11.73 @120, so you can see why I would think that a 115 trap speed should be mid 12's territory.

 

Do you have a Shelby GT or a Shelby GT500? This thread is in the Shelby GT section, but your profile reads GT500?

 

Yeah, I think its a GT500. Avatar and car are both of a GT500 and I don't think a Shelby GT will trap 115 even with some moderate bolt ons, nor street tires.
