Shelby GT is just a $35k dealership billboard
Two Ford dealerships in the area are working from the same premise. They will be allocated two Shelby Gt's. One to sell to a collector and another to display in the showroom. According to one sales manager, Shelby's are not meant to be driven, but to be shown and garaged, an investment.
The Shelby GT amounts to a $35k dealership billboard on the showroom floor. They also have a Ford GT and a Ford Thunderbird, they will add the Shelby GT to their advertising.

Everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion.. People should not be beaten for thier opinion, however wrong it may be :P
I can think of a few dealerships with Ford GT's that are owned by the dealership that are merely there to draw people into the showroom. Heck one dealership has 2!

Honestly, that's just one more thing that Ford ought to tamp down on. Dealerships are there to sell Ford products, not horde them for the personal gratification of the owner and his/her "collection." Are they selling cars or operating a museum?
Maybe if Ford made a broader range of exicting products, dealers wouldn't feel such a strong need to horde the few good ones that do come along.
