Is this the new style one on the Shelby GT (the one folks have been asking for) or the old style?

If that's an accurate picture, then no, that's not the new style on the new GT's.

Here's one on the new Shelby's, and it's cured out from the body a bit, if you can't see it in the pic.

Jay is right... definitely the "old" style. The new look is awesome, however, unobtainable thus far.

Those are Scott Drake emblems and are very high quality. The Shelby GT emblems roll outward like the side of a barrel. Supposely you won't be able to get the Shelby emblems period.

Personally I like the SD emblems and it adds another choice for the replacement of the GT badge. They also go great with my Ford Racing wheel center caps.

Man that picture really shows off the orange peel in the paint.

How can the emblems be unobtainable? What happens if one gets damages? Someone will be able to order them eventually, I just think it's too soon.

those look pretty cheap next to the real ones. why would you wannna put those thin *** decals on your ride. No account for taste. the real ones are molded or machined and look solid. those look like sill plate stickers.

The Scott Drake badges are real, they are reproductions of the badges used on small block Cobras. They look fine but a bit outdated. I like the new ones better but if the new ones are never made available, I may go with these.

Man I guess you failed tactfullness in school. I don't have a problem if you don't like them but don't be an a**hole.

You guys might be right about getting the Shelby GT badges down the road, but I remember reading that Amy B. said that they weren't going to sell the PBF badges of the hood scoop because of cloning. Ya never know though~<!-- / sig -->

Did you ever spend $4.50 for a beer over there in Hollywood?

(Just looked at your resume. FYI, I used to be Production Manager at the LA Weekly.)

Saw the one on the Shelby GT today. Not bad.

On a related note,

What do y'all think of the idea of just putting the Ford Blue oval emblem in the same spot?
