Hi Ross,

The only problem I have with the pricing of the GT500 and the Shelby-GT is mainly the dealer markups.... Remove the limit on the Shelbys being built and the dealer mark-up WILL GO AWAY... It all depends on which way you want to go... The Ford factory makes the GT500 - with 500 horsepower with Mr. Shelby's blessing goes for about $43,000 msrp where as the Shelby-GT with 319 horsepower final assembly at Shelby's factory in Las Vegas goes for about $40,000..... Again it ALL DEPENDS ON WHICH CAR YOU PREFER.... And the deal you get at the price you feel OK with... Mr. GT350 Randy Anderson.... Oh almost forgot please build the GT350......

Randy,
I think what you are seeing is the radiator supports. There werent any lights behind the grill but that might be a neat idea. Ross

From: Wallingford CT
called three dealers in CT yesterday about the Shelby GT and guess what each told me......."We have a waiting list going and if you want you can leave a deposit and get on the list and we'll go down the list with a selling priceof whatever market value is on the car"........hmmm......wonder where I heard that before........I do like the headlights hidden behind the grill.......

Blak Sunshine - I live in Danbury,Connecticut - what town are you from???? Same thing here, talk to two sales persons at one dealership they had a list of 75 people at that dealership - why bother was their tone to me.... I put my name at the top of the list at 3 dealerships for a future GT 350 - nice to be #1 on a list - than #76....... RANDY ANDERSON

Randy Anderson- I'm from Wallingford CT. I bought a 2007 Mustang GT from Mantillia Motors in West Haven last summer. Factory ordered car. I had a hell of a time getting that car here in CT. From what I experienced first hand allocation in CT is terrible. Colony Ford in Meriden CT did tell me that they were starting a list and if I came down with a deposit of $4000.00 I would be the first person on that list. They told me they were being allocated one Shelby-GT and also told me that they couldn't tell me what the ADM would be at this time but to expect 5-10k over sticker.

Guys, I have heard from others who are buying from other dealers outside their area. You can then have the car shipped to your dealer to pickup, it's done all the time
