Performace numbers are identical to the Mustang GT... maybe a wee more HP would have done a difference.
A Shelby 350 with 350hp would have made some sense imo.

Thats hot, how is it that the lower priced Shelby GT gets the cool center Shelby lettering and the GT500 gets the cheesy drivers side lettering.. LOL

comes with the hurst shifter hood pins, the GT/CS front bumper, preinstalled FRPP intake and strut bar....

I think screw the 500, just get the Shelby GT and slap a blower on that bad boy.....

Even comes with a signed plaque....

The numbers comparison can't be accurate. Shorter rear gears, short shifter, and CAI/tune are all proven mods. This car should be about half a second quicker in the quarter than a stocker.

I suspect their numbers are estimated (poorly).

Are those estimates from Ford/Shelby or Fast-Autos?

HP is also identical to the Shelby GT-H which is what it is, just gonna see quicker times due to being a manual w/ better gears and not an auto

and the Shelby GT 350 wasnt named that because it had 350HP nor did it so why would that make more sense, especially when this one isnt being called a Shelby 350?

I know it wasnt (story goes something about how many feet they were from a building or something, not much sense there either), but it would go with the theme that the GT500 has 500hp. GT350 with 350hp... it just sounds good, thats the only reason I gots.
And I brought up ading 350hp instead of the 320 because then we would see better performance estimates, which would in turn make more people happy.

and I dont think releasing those performance numbers is a good idea if it's a bad estimate. We all know how fast a Mustang GT goes, so seeing these numbers is bad imo. It gives more fuel to the fire that this car isnt worth whatever more its going to cost than the GT, and it will scare off people from buying it if they think they can get the same performace in the GT. They have to get better estimates (or God forbid real performance test results), and put up them up.

Love the spolier delete butwhat is up with the fake hood scoop? How tacky can you you be shelby and ford? And then put the shelby name on it. Jesus, wake up people. You obviously dont have your finger on the pulse of mustangers like John Coletti did. I have my doubts about you people for sure.
Bring back Coletti if you want the real deal. Im dissapointed to say the least.

Oh, and where is the power? The lsx engines are kicking our asses as we speak.

As bad as I hate to say it I must consider a gm car for my next purchase becaue of the lsx engines. Ford needs to get off thier *** and do something with the hurricane engines. We are falling futher and futher behind in the hp race.

the hurst shifter looks so nice.

Just to make things interesting compared to a GT, how about using a light-weight drive shaft? and lighter wheels? IOW, up the power a wee bit and trim the weight.

IMO I'm not seeing enough difference between this and a GT, besides cosmetics.
