It seems the wheels, tires, and bumpers come from Ford so no take offs there, just the GT grille. That leaves Shelby Autos supposedly with the CAI, suspension, axle-back, and cosmetics upgrades.

The turn around time for the mods should be fast.

The grille doesn't even look like a take off.
you can see the fog light openings behind it..it looks like the pony emblem was hacked out with a saw.

There seems to be a grille behind the "Shelby" grille. The official pics didn't show that. Unless the official pics were actually those of concepts.

Seeing all those cars makes me think of all the ADM's the dealers slapped on - KA-CHING! Guess who got bank?
Seriously, the grill better not be put on like that considering how much this car costs!

I took the pics you are showing. The grill is not bolted on top of the old grill. What you are seeing is the radiator support. What looks like fog light openings is an illusion. Check out the pics on the Shelby gallery, they show the grill removed and the new one put in.

Wrong!

The grille has been taken away to hack the Horse off and pop out the fog lights.
Then they put it back on and slap the chrome grille on top........SERIOUS!

So Ford is basically shipping California Specials with a spoiler delete to Shelby. Makes all the sense in the world, cars look great!!!!! I would love to get a white and silver one, with whipple charger and Baer brake upgrade......

Thanks for the pics....

Paying $37K or more it's a hard swallow and not very classy at all. Shelby Autos should have contacted a professional company to design a stand alone grill with the proper fit to factory attachments.

No, no, George, you're wrong. I have it on very good authority from AmyB that tremendous engineering has gone into the Shelby GT, and that these cars are the most wonderous of creations: guaranteed to elicit strangers to throw you money; reinvigorate your sex life by making carhops everywhere throw themselves at you; and make you 10 years younger...it's all spelled out in the warranty.

Oh, I almost forgot: and they will soar in value enabling you to sell yours at Barrett-Jackson & Goldstein in 40 years for at least $4 million.

OK, I'm making the carhop part up.

We'll have to locate and personally congratulate the winning bidder and his exclusive Shelby grille.

AMY

It would have been alot cheaper and a heck of alot COOLER to have just left the inboard headlights/ foglights - IN PLACE - instead of removing them... Hidden behind the new Shelby grill would have been B A D A S S and then some... AMY PLEASE consider this on this car if their is a second year run - save time and money leave them in place and just add the new Shelby grill in front of them... Sometimes the coolest things on a car are the things not notice right away - like hidden inboard lights... Just my 2 cents ( it could save a few hundred in labor off the car).... Randy Anderson
