Finally got around to making a thread after having it for a month. My story is pretty much the same as backafter20's. I have always been infatuated with the mystique of Shelbys. After looking around, I decided that I couldn't wait any longer. So I got rid of my 08 GT/CS and picked up #1243.

Here a few pics starting at the dealer while it was still dirty (I wouldn't let them clean it up. I don't trust some 17 year old making 7 bucks an hour at a dealership to be careful washing my car. I'll handle it myself, thank you very much. ) Also some with my '70.
