2010 SGT

No but there may be a GT 350??? SAI is currently focused on KR, 40th Anniversary GT 500, and Supersnake production as well Shelby GT to Shelby GT/SC upgrades.
There are still a few new Shelby GTs available for sale at below MSRP! Check out Team Shelby for sale forums.

There won't even be any '09 SGTs, let alone 2010s! I think the GT350 rumor, though partially supported by comments from Amy Boylan, is also boosted by a lot of wishful thinking. As 1977 pointed out, not only are there good deals left on 08 SGTs, but there are still great deals available on leftover 07 SGTs, some with Shelby mod shop additions! It's hard to justify continuing a special model when those already produced didn't sell well and still have unresolved quality issues. Ford and Shelby need to seriously rethink their marketing strategy before they launch another Shelby car. Unless it is extremely well done, well marketed, and priced right, it just can't compete with the SVT GT500 (which does continue). I have an 08 SGT, and I am absolutely in love with it, wrinkled stripes and all, and wouldn't trade it for anything. Then again, I am not your normal everyday Mustang enthusiast or average car buyer. I adore all things "Shelby", and especially the nostalgia that the SGT exudes. But since most people don't share my passion and couldn't care less whether a car is a "real" Shelby or not, Shelby is going to have a hard sell on a new model. On the other hand, SAI has to build something, right? They can't keep busy forever modding everyone's aftermarket GT500s, so a new model does seem inevitable, and that's what they've kinda hinted at. I do hope to see more new Shelbys (maybe 2010?), but I am concerned that Carrolls second stint with Ford may be shorter than his first. (7 yrs, give or take)

I knew there wouldn't be any for '09, and that '09 Shelby shops would be pretty much consumed with KR ans Super Snake production.
There will be a 2010 GT500 which I suppose Shelby will do something with. I was thinking though that there may be a plan for 2010 GTs in the new body design. As you said Jim, they will need something to keep the shop running. I'm not sure converting GT500s will be enough into the future.
Dealers are the main reason there are left over '07s and '08s. Some dealers still have GT500s, and that hasn't stopped production.
