2008 Shelby GT color(s)???

I'm confused. I was under the impression that the black or white w/Tungsten stripes Shelby GT's were exclusive to 2007, and that the 2008 models were going to be Vista Blue w/Tungsten stripes.

Then I see this picture on the Shelby website under the heading of "2008 Shelby GT", and I clearly see White, Black, Vista Blue, and Grabber Orange cars!

I've subsequently heard that the Grabber Orange cars are a very limited run of cars only available in southern California. But am I to assume that you can order a 2008 Shelby GT in Black and White, along with Vista Blue?

If you want black or white, there are still dealers out there with those models on the lot for sale. May have to do a little looking (but not much).

So, are you saying the black/silver and white/silver cars being oufitted on the shop floor along with the orange/silver and blue/silver cars in that picture are leftovers from the '07 production run?

Yes. That picture was probably taken in early Sep. Orange cars started production in Aug, Blue ones on like 2 or 3 Sep.

I was there in early November and all I saw were Blue ones. There were a few Black and white SGTs out in the parking lot across the street awaiting a trip to the mod shop (e.g. superchargers, brakes etc)
