WOOO HOOO!!VIN Number assigned :-)

Hey guys,

I am sure i will drive everyone crazy by the time this car somes in but I just received the call that my VIN number has been assigned! :-)

The dealer mentioned that only Ford employees have access to follow the progress of their car online... but that there may be some other way to access additional information from Ford website. Does anyone know if that is possible?

Ah yes the ERL. I had many "conversations" with her back in early 05. She kept telling me "clean and unscheduled". But she finally came through after FOUR months!

Sweet that's great news and no wrries about driving anyone nuts we have all been there already & me twice in two years, when closer you will find it hard to get some sleep. lol

Thanks guys! As for my order priority, I dont have a clue. I do know that they man I bought the car from (Tom at Spitzer Ford in Hartville, Ohio) sells a lot of Shelbys and said he would try to get it for ma as soon as possible... I dont know if that makes a difference or if it is just luck of the draw?

As for the sleep, I can only imagine it is going to get worse..... Even just a week into this, I see Mustangs everywhere and want to show all of my friends car photos over and over.....

I know how you feel!!!

Brand new to this forum and I ordered my GT/CS on Feb. 11th.

It has been a rough 5 weeks. Every time I see another Mustang it makes it worse.

But, it will be worth it in the end. I am going to the dealership tommorow to find out where we are at. I ordered black with all the options except the anti theft and nav. Hard top of course. I can not wait to hear that pony and listen to the shaker 1000.
