During these slow winter months, just wondering what everyone owns. I'm a 100% 'stock' guy normally, right down to the Ford battery, but I am guilty of adding on that shaker hood which I love. I fall into category #2 with that add-on.

I personally think the S197 looks pretty d*mn good overall right out of the box. Ford did a good job.

However, it's very hard to resist adding our own personal touches. That's what makes us car guys and gals. I suscribe to K.I.S.S......keep it simple stupid. You can't go wrong with the big three: wheels, suspension, and exhaust. That's what most gearheads have been doing since the advent of the muscle car and those mods, plus a bit of engine bay bling, are what I've done to my Mustang. I'm from a more conservative car mind set, if you can call what we drive conservative.

But that's not to say a fult tilt boogie Mustang is without merit, or that a bone stocker can't turn heads either. I have a friend who owns a virgin and immaculate '07 GT/CS convertible with only 3000 miles that gets just as many oohs and aahs as heavily modded Mustangs at shows and cruise events.

No matter what you do, or don't do to your car, is entirely up your personal taste. The point is, it's all good.

I think the only thing I could do would be a big brake kit. Everything else was been changed.

Well, modding out my 07 SGT. putting on the Boss 302 quad exhaust, Eleanor lower side skirts, Eleanor window scoops, Cervini Eleanor tail lights. A new hood scoop from Shelby to replace the old warped one. Found an original set of fog light / brake ducts along with an aluminum lower billit grill. Putting in the lower fogs. The old scoop had the fake rivets. The new one requires it to be riveted on. My body shop guy is loving me for having him install all of my mods. I can't wait to see and hear it when done.

Interesting that not 1 'stock' vote has been posted. I was close but the shaker hood is just something I preferred over the 'stock' unit, and still do.
