Warranty Question?

Hello Again Everyone! I was wondering if anyone had a opinion on whether or not to buy the $1500 dollar extended warranty from ford. Im still on the fence whether to go with full mods or get the frpp performance pack and upgrade exhaust. Your opinions are appreciated. Thanks!

I did get the extended warranty. I am sure you will find mixed views on this one. I have a CAI and a tune, but I will return the card to stock before I get any service done, only takes a few minutes to return every thing back. I guess it was more of peace of mind than anything else. I will be doing some exterior mods, but that will not vois the warranty.

I think if I had to reorder it all over again, I would have gotten the FRPP performance package with upgraded exhaust. JMO.

thanks for your opinion joe. Hopefully others will chime in also. I was told that the dealers shops can still tell if you had a tune on your car even after you reset it. Do you know if theres any truth to this?? Thanks again joe.

I would say no don't buy it. Unless you have a factory s/c or a turbo I think its a waste of money. The drive tran in the stangs are pretty good.

I was told that most dealers will not know if you had a tune on the car if you return it to stock. Maybe some of the experts may have to answer that one.
