Vert Roll Bars

Does anyone know about or have one of these bars?

* Does it block out the back seat making it useless?
* Are they available for the 07? and are they any good in general ie steel inside, hard to install?, not block the roof when putting it up.........

Well you should not do fire drills unless you are at a full stop and then maybe switch seats, I am concidering getting a light bar as its called not a roll bar , so I've read thats a good question , just have to duck when jumping into the back seat. Loads of members here have them & I'll bet there is chatter about it here somewhere ? as with the Honey comb grill Silver Horse Racing carry them so as long as they can do it NOT UPS cause UPS are crooks I'll bite.

I believe they are made by CDC. They are not roll bars, they are listed as light bars and have a disclaimer that they do not provide protection.

They do not interfere with the operation of the top. Someone with one will have to address the access to the back seat.

Personally, I don't care for them, the access and looks mainly. I did see one being installed on an '07 Vert and the installer had the rear seats out getting the wiring hooked up. Think it takes a few hours to do? There is also the issue of the rear light coming on with the top up and I believe some have changed the wiring to have a light cut out switch?

If they don't provide protection - forget it....I don't really like the looks and the 3rd brake light up that high just looks rice IMO...

A little harder to get in. The back seat is good. It is all in what you like ? I love the looks of it. I get a lot of with the light bar.

Thanks guys and yes of course it is a "Light Bar". I do like the looks of it, the only real concern is access to the back seat. The issue of the brake light coming on with the top up can be addressed with an optional cut off switch and the link to CDC also has a distributor not far from me which was a great help. Although its not a "roll bar" the steel tube inside is better that nothing, so now I guess its about is it "in the way"

Thanks again
