Red Dot on Tires

I thought I liked the red dot on the tires, but I don't. What's the best way to remove it? (No luck in search).

RedDot?

Which tires have a red dot on them? I don't recall seeing a red dot on my tires (Stock 18x8).

07 GT/CS, BF Goodrich, G-Force T/A, 235/50 ZR18. Stock 18" with CS.

Leo: Scotch Pad won't scratch/discolor the sidewall?

Let it fade my man...keeps that new look in tact. I have the red dot on my GT/CS and an orange dot still on my 04 Expedition..... it you really have to remove it the scotchpad won,t scratch the tire but use a little bleach white tire cleaner and a toothbrush..that will do the the trick

yup, bleeche white and a tooth brush or any nylon detail scrub brush. Usually the detailer at the dealership gets them off on the delivery wash.

Ken,

I had 'em on all 4 of my tires when I took delivery of my CS. They dissappeared after a couple of washings... Which took about 3 days! lol

Hey Larry, "mommy's" dead. Thanks..... you must be bored to death.

For the other guys that actually tried to help, thanks, I'll try the the bleach/scotch pad/goo-be-gone. The Dealer only had the car for 3 hrs., cause I didn't want them messsing with it. So it's probably my fault, but in my book, "if you want something done right, do it yourself", cause there's allot of yahoos out there. Ya know?

I'll try that first! Maybe that's been the problem.

Dudes;
I got a ticket doing 97 in a 40 mph zone around a bend trying to get those red dots to come off. It didn't work and will cost me $325 and 6 points.

So I tried the GOO Gone and my toothbrush;
Before;

And it worked great, so here it is;

So, my question is; Any of you guys that removed the red dot with your toothbrush, have you noticed your mouth taste funny after brushing?

Thanks for the help. It worked out fine.

Very funny. Glad the goo stuff worked. Thanks for showing the photos. Has anyone her waxed their stang yet? Just curious if anyone has any recs about wax type. I hate swirls. I am partial to Meguirs but I have not had the need to wax mine yet. I wash it 2 times a week and either cover it or stick her in the garage.

speaking of toothbrushes....
did you know the toothbrush was invented in Arkansas?? If it was invented anywhere else it would have been called a teethbrush.

Zaino dude, especially for dark colors. Deep. Quick. Not a wax; it's a polymer...put on 2 layers and you're good for 6 months...unless you're **** like me! Then after driving and collecting dust on it; use the California Duster to safely remove dust, and the Zaino Z6 mist to return it to "recently washed" condition.
