Well I have heard that it improves fuel economy but I wouldnt expect much from it performance wise. It might make the difference from a good roll. You cant exactly dyno somthing that actually has to be running down the road to make a difference.

Yes
Yes you have to be moving to get the air in for performance and fuel economy.I had one on my 05 GT and they do help with both, not very good pic.

Bear in mind I live in the UK, so when I specced my car - I wanted to make sure I didn't have to send it back for anything to be fitted

Re. the dash - I got it on eBay

Fitted it myself. More comprehensive than the Roush version which doesn't have panels for the airbag section. The panels are soft and flexible so I can't see them interfering with its operation either (the airbag that is!).
I have a lot, and I mean a LOT of other modifications ready to be fitted to the car (entire suspension, brakes, exhaust, intake etc.etc.etc.), but am running it in at the moment. In 3 weeks time, all being well, the car will be transformed. I'll post the updates accordingly.

We're both race drivers however

A 'stock' Mustang hasn't been taken round the Top Gear track, but a Stage III Roush has done it in 1:28 (that's 2 seconds quicker than a GT500) which is pretty good!
See the overall standings here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Power_Laps
When I've finished modifying mine, it should make even the Roush seem sluggish

Thank you for all your responses, the pic's are great. I've decided to go with the Black vert, cloth top, black/parchment, gt appearance, interior upgrade, comfort group, anti-theft, sirius. Order has not gone through yet, dealer keeps going on about getting allocation. Brother works at dealership so I'm getting the D-plan which saves me almost $4k so patiently waiting. Hope doesn't take forever, can't wait to post my own pic's. Until then I'll keep enjoying yours, they all look fantastic. Thanks again.

Stormbringer (Chris) - Your stang is awesome. I've ordered the same exterior. I saw your post about the quarter windows, tell me about the window tinting - what do I need to lookout for? Thanks.

As far as the tint goes I had the tint redone on the drivers window because of scratching. I installed the protector from automoleskin.com and everything has been fine since.
