Options ? and CDN Pricing

I will be going in to order my CS shortly and would like to know what options others have got for what price?

This is what I believe?? the sticker prices are; 07 GT Conv $37,599, CS Pkg $2,200, Interior Upgrade Pkg $635, Cloth Top $300, Comfort group (heated seats, pwr pass seat) $500, Side Airbags $500, Active Anti Theft $300. Are there any other options you guys would recommend other than the 1K Shaker which I will pass on?

What options did you get on your car and what was the final price paid?

With your help I will know if the dealer is giving me the gears, or it really is his best price.

Thanks

sounds like you picked almost all the options (gonna be a cool ride!!!)....only missing pieces are:
gtap (54G)- many people dont care for non-functional hood scoop
sirius (50S)- not sure canadian availability
boot (59B)- maybe not necessary
things like wheel locks you can find on ebay for 1/3 the price.

seek out the numerous threads about x-plan pin#. if dealer doesn't accept this (as i've heard is possible), 1-find another dealer; 2-only deal in terms of invoice+ instead of msrp- (goto kbb.com for ice vs msrp). here in so-cal demand for ragtop is still hi, but even without x-plan its easy to find dealer who will only jack you up $500 over ice.

everyone named Brian is a cool guy!

Thanks for the input, kbb.com is a great US site and I found a similar one for canada which is carcostcanada.com. You build your car with the options and it gives the cdn msrp breakdown and total. If you want the deal invoice then pay $35, which is nothing but until the end of this month is "Ford family pricing" which knocks off about $5000 from the msrp. Now I know that its 38K and change cdn for all options exept the hood scoop and shaker 1K.
PS: Sirus is not avail in canada, the boot is included with all conv and the GT pkg includes exhaust tips (which are part of the cs pkg), hood scoop (which I think is more needed on the Shelby a supercharged 5.4L) and the engine cover which I will try and order by itself, if not there is always the many aftermarket suppliers for any mods.

VanGo where did you order from...
Did you get anything off options with family pricing?
What does (68B premium Trim pkg) include that Iup doesn't? Or is it also known as "Interior Sports Package"?
Why didn't you get side air bag option?

ps: congrats with you purchase...was grabber onsite? would like to see colour in person...

I entered these options in www.carcostcanada.com and it came up with MSRP of $39,504 - $33,984 = $5,520 Family Discount. I did add the Shaker 1000 as a required option with your other selections and that's $1,975, so do you have the Shaker 1000?? cause if not then it's $37,529 - 33,984 = $3,545 Family Discount. So is the discount worth $3,500 or $5,500 ?? and which dealer were you at I was Coastal in Bby.

I have ordered a Tunsten Grey GT convertible with the following options:

Leather seating
Wheel Locking Kit
Side air bags
Interior Upgrade Package (Charcoal Instrument Panel applique)
Premium Trim with Colour Accent Package (Black & Dove)
Black Cloth Roof
Body side Moldings

Total price was $36,310

Don't know breakdown on all the costs but cloth roof was $264 and Premium Trim $344 (Family Pricing). If you use CarCost, option prices will be approximately what the wholesale cost is, i.e.,
Interior Upgrade $546
Comforrt Group $430
Side Air Bags $430
Anti-theft $258

I priced your configuration on CarCost -wholesale is $38,899 or $39,945 with auto (no Shaker 100) $4,438 discount on

Thanks for the info, what I was wondering was what was your MSRP or the value of the family discount, it seems to be ranging from 3500 to 5500?

Check the Ford.ca website and check the inventory at Ocean Park Ford sales, Surrey BC.

They have a CS vert with cloth roof, Comfort, CS package, Interior Upgrade, Anti-Theft and 18" premium wheels $42,834 MSRP, $37,821 Family Price so approx $5K off MSRP
