New Power

Well i just install my new CAI with a 93 octane tune by John Demolet, this weekend and WOW. The seatofthepants meter says it was well worth the $500. It was even painted Black to match my car. How I'm in a deal to get some used Imco axle backs for $180. I hope to get these on the car before winter storage. Next year Suspension and gauges on the a-pillar.

Nice - it's always fun when you increase the hp! I have (well had) the JLT II CAI with XCal and DPG tune on my '05 and it made a hugh seat-of-the-pants difference as it not only adds more HP but improved throttle response and the powerband. I just removed it as I will be trading it in for the '07 GT/CS and I can really feel the decrease in power - especially in the middle of the powerband. Enjoy!!

Well the Imco axle backs are on their way to my new baby. Also found a Sunnco Gas station that was 94 octane and a Bp Station with Racing gas (I think 104 octane). My run at the Tire Rack Test Track last weekend was cancel due to rain all weekend. Hopfully they (Michiana Mustang Club) will get another date before Winter.

Yeah Awake I hear ya - always mistifys me why folks in the Midwest and East sprinkle that white powder all over ground during the Winter months By the way - it's cold here tonight - going to be down to 64 deg!

Should be getting my car back this Friday. Stripes are finally painted on, also adding a K&N CAI and FRPP axelbacks. Took it to the dyno a few weeks ago to get a base line. Came out at 265 HP @ 4500rpm, and 270# of torque, will get it back there after the mods to see what real HP gains I got.

Also adding a remote starter for those cold winter morning, so I have a warm car waiting for me with the frost and ice melted off the windows.
So glad they don't put vinyl ( naugahyde?) seats in any more, cracked the seats in an old 73' when the temp was around 0

Cool Old School Rumble

I just installed a C&L intake with a Brenspeed tune along with some JBA LT Headers. I started out with JBA Mufflers the first week I got the car and that was ok, but wow! Once the C&L and LT's where installed it was like a wild animal was unleashed! It had an old school loud rumble when you got on it. You could hear this thing a block away. Anyway I ended up putting the Stock Mufflers back on it only because I want somewhat of a sleeper. It still rumbles when you get on it, which is really what I want, but while cruising or idle its only a little louder then stock.
