A Quick Followup
Marcus: Quick followup on looking at your pictures. First, we would love to get the exact same "California Special" decal that you show on the deck lid for our CalStang! Love it! How can we get this from them? Second. Noticed that you are running different lights in the grill fog light holes! They look great! Are they the Halo eye units? Our own fog light reflectors are already getting hazed up on the inside with only 2,700K miles on CalStang.

You sure have a good eye...Yeah, those are halo fog lamps. Here's a writeup I did about them...

I plan to get the halo headlights to complete the look. Should look cool with four halos on.
As for the California Special emblem...you can have it made at Signnetwork.com
Here's the specs for the emblem:
<TABLE><TBODY><TR><TD><TABLE cellSpacing=1 cellPadding=0><TBODY><TR><TD>Custom letters: </TD><TD>California Special</TD></TR><TR><TD>Font: </TD><TD>Mistral</TD></TR><TR><TD>Preserve original proportions: </TD><TD>Yes</TD></TR><TR><TD>Text Alignment: </TD><TD>center</TD></TR><TR><TD>Text decoration: </TD><TD>Italic </TD></TR><TR><TD>Material: </TD><TD>Metalic</TD></TR><TR><TD>Color: </TD><TD>Silver 7911</TD></TR><TR><TD>Size: </TD><TD>3.57 wide x 1.5 high </TD></TR><TR><TD>Reversed: </TD><TD>No</TD></TR><TR><TD>Shadow: </TD><TD>medium, center left </TD></TR><TR><TD>Shadow material: </TD><TD>All Standard Colors</TD></TR><TR><TD>Shadow color: </TD><TD>Black</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
Enter those specs in the appropriate boxes when creating your custom emblem.

Thanks Marcus!!
Marcus: Thanks for the CS decal info and really nice writeup/pixs on the Halos install!! If we do install them, thinking of wiring so they go on with the parking lights if the circuit can handle the current pull. Would look very sweet for cuising through the local car displays and the burger night get togethers at dusk! But don't know if that is even legal here in Iowa. Thanks again. Great Stuff. CalStang

Wiring the halos into the parking lights is how I did mine and I've had no problems with it.
BMW's have halos too so I don't see why halos would be illegal in Iowa.

The "Mount Up" is a decal. I had it custom made from a seller on Ebay.

Sweet Ride
I see your calipers are red.
Did you paint the existing ones? Or is that a brake kit?
I picked up some caliper paint a while back, but I've hesitated on painting them... I'm afaid of the results I might get. And how hard it would be to remove if I didn't like it

I painted the calipers with Duplicolor caliper paint. I just brushed it on. Pretty easy to do but time consuming. More than likely you will like the new look of your calipers. What color is your car and what color is the paint that you bought?

Cool deal. My car is black, and I also bought red Duplicolor.
I think I'll try to tackle it this weekend...
