Should I go with or without the Saleen Quarter Panel Windows???

On a side note. I just put on the Black GT Fuel Door but I don't know what to do for a gas cap. The one that comes stock is impossible to get off and the the extension holder has no where to attach on the new fuel door.

Anyone else have this problem and know a solution?

 

IMO, without. I like some of the other looking ones though.

And are you saying that the screw on gas cap doesnt fit now with the new door?

 

Check out silverhorse racing' site for the louvers, as for the gas cap, I went with a ford locking gas cap, a bit of a pain to get unlocked sometimes but worth the effort to keep someone from draining the tank.

You must have liked the Saleen for a reason. It is your car and that is what Mustangs are all about. I like it. But i like others better. I would make sure you could take it off, in case you ever wanted to sell it. Sometimes all that extra cool stuff hinders buyers.

 

Go without! Clean and simple. =D

BTW, I like the fuel door.

 

Ok, so I have decided to return the quarter windows. I just don't feel comfortable putting something permanent or damaging on the car that I may not like.

The fuel door is from SilverHorseRacing.com and it fits just fine. The problem is the gas cap cannot attach to the fuel door.

I tried to take the gas cap off the stock gas door but it seemed impossible to pull out the plug that was holding it so I just cut the cord! Now I am using the stock gas cap without any type of holder.

However I am worried that they will rest the gas cap on the car or forget to put it back on all together when I get gas.

On a side note I will be putting Ford Racing black bullitt rims on the car at the end of October which I think will make the black fuel door look even better.

Next up is deciding whether or not to put the black racing stripes on the car... Hmmmm! What to do?

The black bullitts will really set it off...especially if you had black stripes...IMO, the car looks 10X better with stripes..
