Do a search and you'll find some pictures of those BMR brackets all bent up...they are weak.
If you're buying new, get the CHE ones, they're fully boxed.

Thanks for the info, but some links would be helpful. Who/what is CHE? I really don't see how they would get bent unless they contacted the ground or had gonzo hp at the wheels.

The BMR website does suggest welding. I've read elsewhere that welding is only needed for drag racing.

That's why I bought the ones that don't have any history of bending/breaking after install

OK, just to clear things up. We're talking about 3 different sourced LCA relocation brackets, BMR, CHE and the UMI brand that Rick has. The problem area appears to be the passenger side mount. The BMR brand only has one hole for the mount, one of two choices for the LCA and one on the tab that extends up to the axle mount. The UMI that Rick has have two holes for the mount which would appear to eliminate the possibility of the bracket being able to rotate and bend like the picture of the BMR that 06GT kindly provided the link for. However the CHE brackets appear to mount the same as the BMR in the links provided. So it would appear they would be subject to the same failure possibility as the BMR. From what I can tell by studying all these pics for the last 30 minutes is that the UMI brackets that Rick has mounted appear to be superior to both the CHE and BMR. Just my 2 cents.
