Rays running all stock calipers and pads like me. Rotors are from Rotor Pros drilled & sloted. The Brembo's are nice I like the Extremes. In all reality our stock brakes work fairly well for average street driving. For track they probably suck and from a visual stock calipers and brakes look very pedestrian. A nice brake upgrade is probably the second most expensive thing you can do to your cars next to being S/C'ed.

Yup, Jed's right on all counts. I don't even know if I want to keep the GT-500 wheels. I love the look of them but in the back of my mind they kind of take away from the uniqueness of the car I had created. Now it looks pretty much like a GT-500 (which is a winner) but I had something else in mind. Time will tell.

Finished my Rasterbator project last night. Installed it on wall that had nothing going on. Each tile is 8.5"x11".

Scary day in da hood (little red riding hood)... This is a true story (and it happened today).

I went home for lunch break as I usually do, ate my lunch, sat on the toilet and then proceeded to take my daily power nap with my three cats.
About 30 minutes later one of the cats got up and went out of the bedroom.
I then heard some noises coming from the other end of the house and wondered what the cat had gotten into.
All of a sudden the cat came running back into the bedroom but I still heard sounds coming from the kitchen (no other humans are in the house mind you).
So I cautiously ventured towards the kitchen and stuck my head around the corner when I spied two bear cubs inside the house!
They had broken through my window screen, got into the cat food, tore open a loaf of bread and, get this, opened my trash compactor.
They tore the bag out of the compactor and were digging through it on the kitchen floor.
I noticed that the floor and the bears were sopping wet thinking that maybe they had somehow took a bath from the cat water dish (boy was I wrong ).
I locked the cats in the bedroom and grabbed a dining room chair.
I first yelled a few things like "go home you stupid bears" or something to that effect.
They didn't even look in my direction.
So I took the chair and slowly ventured towards the cubs and slowly nudged (encouraged) them to go back out the way they came.
One of the bears finally went back out but the other one was a little more stubborn.
He got about half way out the window when he decided that he didn't want to leave yet.
So he turn in my direction and started clawing at the chair.
I backed up a bit and he went back to eating the bread.
So I picked up some scraps of bread and threw it outside, he finally obliged and exited.
I closed the windows and grabbed my camera.

Here they are on my porch just after l kicked them out.

The same bear I had the most trouble with then decided he wants back in!

After a few minutes they decided I was no fun anymore and so they went to chew on my roses and take a crap on my lawn.
One bear jumped on top of the fence and then down the hill as I yelled at them to stop eating my plants.

The other one decides he's not done with me yet so he comes back to the front door and pounces on it (that was scary!).
I guess I shouldn't have put out the welcome mat.

Went back in to clean up the kitchen and decided there was way to much water to be just the cat bowl.

I knew it... spa day!!!

How was your day?!

Three things Ray...

1) what size pic did you use to get the rasterbator pic just right. I have a 1024x768 pic and the size is weird when I tell it how big I want it.... I so want to do this....

2) My camera wouldn't be the first thing I picked up....

3) Ho-ly frijoles That would freak me the F out. In the house... wow. you need to get rid of the glass doors before big mama comes by and wants some kitty food. still... Once they where gone, i'd have the bears mess to worry about and mine

Most importantly I'm glad you're OK and it wasn't some HUGE bear in a bad mood. That might not have been as much fun.

My original image was 3504x2336 and 23.4M decompressed.

I used 4mm dot size in the Rasterbator with 4x6 tiles (I eliminated the bottom row because they were only partially printed.

Email me your image if you want, I can take a look at it.

They came from their mom!

Dude, I live in the mountains.

Yes, I called the cops, animal control and some other animal service. It was recommended to me to buy what is called a Scat Mat. It's a mat that holds an electric charge that I can put in front of the window for now. Gives a zap to anything that touches it. I'll also keep that window locked up for now.

Hey that's what you had to expect living near the mountains, now you call animal control to make the bears leave their habitat? I thought you were a nature lover

You get the GREENPEACE

What the heck are you talking about?!

I love my nature. My house is my habitat not theirs. We can all share space, just not my space.
