We are at 39.5" of snow for the season here and now expecting another 3" of that pretty white stuff again tonight! We have just about run out of places to pile, throw or stow it. But we are also having some real great fun out there getting around in those big ol' 4X4's! CalStang

You'd have to ask John Deloreon that question I believe he did use snow tires lol

That's the crystalline form of water that some of us prefer to constantly living in an air conditioned environment. It's also the only form of water I use for recreation, usually piled up rather deep on the side of a very steep mountain at 40-60 mph with these goofy looking long boards attached to my feet. That would be my idea of 'the beach'!
I had an apartment in Houston for 4 1/2 years - you can keep that crap!!!
I got an email from Whistler Ski Area the other day. They've had 32 FEET of snow so far this season.

I got a foot overnight earlier in the week
But its a typical El Nino year with warmer storms from Hawaii rather than gulf of AK. The Cascades are 25% behind in snowpack, but its burying the rest of the country as that warm wet air mass hits the Arctic air coming down the Rockies. I should have about an 18" pack here at the house but am looking at about an 8-10" pack.
Nothing like I had a few winters back...

we got about 4" here. before Christmas we had about 18". then another 6" a week or 2 later.
most snow we had in a couple years. really messing things up...why you ask?
well....here in MD, some people dont know how to handle this "white" stuff so they are all over the road...
i was almost hit 2 times just driving thru downtown!!
and....i am a coach of the Indoor track team at one of the local high schools and all the snow is causing our season to go down the drain (no pun intended) and i have a lot of kids who shelled out $55 bucks to participate who will never be able to because there is no more meets.
comes with the territory i guess, but other than that, i would be looking for more if i could have it....i dont mind the snow at all. kinda nice to see everyone else griping and complaining about it and i just set back and laugh at them. i say "have fun"

Snow
In Detroit we have received about 3-4 inches so far this SEASON. My kids are bummin! They want to go sledding, but we have only been able to go one time so far this year. This is very unusual for us.

I'm kidding about the snow...but we actually did get some in December, twice! It was exciting. I love watching the city just shut down because of an inch or two of snow.

i think we got about 8" from this past storm here in South Jersey. We also got 2 FFET of snow the week before christmas. We usually don't get this much snow in a decade, much less in 1 season!

I think we ended up with about four and a half feet here in flagstaff. I got so sick of the snow I went down to the valley and got a new car. I picked up a ford five hundred limited awd. Now thats a great snow car. I replaced my dodge caliber r/t.

We've had about a foot total between two storms, one on Christmas Eve (8") and the last week of Jan. (4"). It's all gone now, but they're talking about another couple of inches on Monday. I park in a garage at home and at work.

When is Spring?
We are now at 44" for this winter's total snow-fall thus far. All while the Stang still sleeps over in the shop. Pix of the backyard this morning from at our home up here in the very quite rolling forested hills of "SW" Iowa. Calstang
