was asked by Paul Newitt to get some idea from other GT/CS owners on what they would like to see in the after market parts. Like spoilers, graphics etc. So put your ideas in here and I will forward them to Paul.

1. I would like to see a trunk stripe like the old GT/CS had and I know there are people who make them but Paul has the art work to create the retro look. The picture I am attaching is the best one I have seen but I would like the GT/CS not in the stripe<!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

 

The location of that stripe is just awesome!
With or without the GT/CS on it , that is what the back-end needs to break up / brighten up the otherwise bland appearance of the rear view.EDIT I wonder what it would look like if you would follow the stripe down over the bumper cover and end it over the license plate area to encircle the tail lamp area ? Does it really HAVE to look that retro? After all, it's a 2008 , not a 1968 .

 

I would love to see a lower front splitter, like the GT500 in a black or carbon fiber look.

 

Do you have a better picture of the rear stripe? The pic is very small with no link to a larger pic.

Talking with Paul at Knott's he has the artwork with the original GT/CS stripe so I am hoping they can modify it for the '07+ GT/CS cars.

I don't like the stripe, but I would like to see just the GT/CS letters in black for the trunk.

 

I kind of like the stripe. It could be just enough to dress up the otherwise plain rear of our cars.....

 

I would like to see a script "California Special" metal emblem for the rear trunk. I would also like floor mats with the same stitched into the mat. Another nice touch would be a replacement for the existing emblem located in the center of the steering wheel for the CS like they did with the Bullitt.

 

It would be nice to have a front spoiler, or splitter as some call them. I would like to see the existing front spoiler go about anothe inch or tow lower.

 

Definately Metal California Script Letters like the old ones. I added letters but they are just vinyl and reflect!!

 

I'd also like to see some beach bunnies chasing my car on the beach like the original commercial LOL
