I agree. The SVT guys that do that use the build numer for the car model not each individual color.

I see I forgot to enter my particulars in this thread:

2008: Last six: 196397
assembled 04-17-2008
# 2075 of 2509 convertibles
# 560 of 718 in Ebony

2009: Last six: 101485
assembled 05-27-2008
# 34 of 1705 coupes
# 3 of 377 in High Performance White

I was interested in the relative exclusivity of 2007-2009 GT/CSs versusShelby GTs. From what I could gather, there were a total of 18,583 GT/CSs manufactured in those three years.

I inquired on the Team Shelby SGT/SGT-H forum and Chris very kindly put up these numbers, which others seemed to think are close to correct:

2007

Black Coupes 3,385 (5 spd. 2,876 auto. 509)
White Coupes 2,266 (5 spd. 1,771 auto. 495)

Total Production 5,651

2008

Blue Coupes 1121 (5 spd. 973 , auto. 148)
Blue Convertibles 778 ( 5 spd. 573, auto. 195)

Grabber Orange Coupes 215 (5 spd. 211, auto. 4)
Grabber Orange Conv. 0

Barrett Jackson Coupe 61 ( 5 spd. 47, auto. 14)
Barrett Jackson Conv. 39 ( 5spd. 28, auto. 11)

Total Production 2214

That's 7,865 Shelby GTs compared to 18,583 GT/CSs, making the SGT about 2.4 times as exclusive as the GT/CS. Seems to me that's a pretty expensive claim to be able to make.

Really , I heard that somewhere and then mentioned to a friend that has one here that GT-CS can get these now & I mentioned that I heard Shelby owners did not want a Certificate , his remark was they cannot get enough stuff. How odd there would not be one for SVT car

A Shelby GT is not really a SVT car.
