GT/CS Clearance - Front End
I thought i'd take a moment to give anyone concerned with the GT/CS clearance my $.02. By now, we all should know that the FRPP Suspension package is not part of the GT/CS. While it is available through dealers, you will have to negotiate the price, plus installation cost with the dealer, not FoMoCo.
I'm thinking that I want it. My plan is to wait until the end of August for my next trip to California. I've reserved a GT-H for a couple of days, and plan to make the most of the car as time allows.
As you may have heard in prior postings, the clearance on the front end is 4.5". No problem on the road of course, but curbs and and those weird concrete blockers that we find around so many parking lots are a problem. Please be careful.
The pic of my old 06 silver GT will give you a comparison to my 06 redfire GT/CS. To me, there is a world of difference.
Best of luck.

Joe, thank you for posting the front end clearance comparison between your '06 redfire GT/CS and your '06 silver GT. Good photos showing the difference. 4.5 inches front end clearance would make it a challenge entering and leaving the parking garage where I work and between my parents' entry road and main road at their home. As it is now, I drive slowing and negotiate these transitions at an angle.

I have been holding back myself, because of the clearance issue. I thought about using some H&R or Eibach adjustable Coil-Over's and use the sway bars from the FRPP package. It will allow you to adjust the height from .8 to 2.5".
