i just ordered an 09 gt/cs in white with black stripes, shaker 1000, hid headlights, trip tunes and some other stuff. i got a build date of august 4th and i was wondering how long it usually takes to build a CS? its supposed to be delivered by sept 23 but that doesnt seem like that much time to build.

From what I have seen on build dates it takes about 9 to 10 days to build your GT/CS once you get the Blend Date which will have the window sticker.

 

depends on delivery, I had heard that the rail carriers may be on some kinda stike or something , but for both my factory orders it took like 3-4 months ?

 

Took me two months from order date to delivery. Timeline is in my sig below.

 

If your build date is the week of August 4th, then your GT/CS will be built sometime that week. It'll be on the assembly line for about 32 hours total. Typical shipping time to the dealership after that is about 2-3 weeks tops, so you should have it by the end of August.

 

ordered mine June 30 2008 didn't show up at the dealer until October 14

& lovin every minute driving too I'd bet my jewels on that ! or just put the SYNC system in mine & I'd be happy to test it to any extreme on Ford's behalf, even use the car for advertising for them the whole enchalata
