My GT/CS is over 2 months old and I have zero problems. No "clunking" for sure. Hope you get it resolved.

Same here! Mine has "Clunked" from day one.(Aug 06) I now have 1300 miles on it. Have taken it to the dealer twice, went over his head to the"Territory Service Manager and they both state "It is a normal Characteristic (sp?) of the Mustang! I am now at the 3rd level called "Ford Customer Care". They are supposed to call me Monday 11-6-06 and tell me what's going on. They claim I am not the only person that has complained of this but they don't have an answer or are willing to take care of it "At this Point in time"!

I told them when I test drove one, (before I ordered mine) it never clunked! and now this is the 3rd time I've been pushed on to someone else and I am going right up the ladder to at least #5 so i can turn this into the Lemon Law. So either fix my problem, or give me my money back!!

I feel the dealers are trained to ignore your problem and tell you to "Go Away" and hope you don't bother them anymore!! That's my take anyway.

there was another thread on this, someone got the dealer to change the ball joint and it fixed it. i have had this noise since new, and since my warranty is going to be up soon, i am going to start attempting AGAIN to get it fixed.
