CS Headrest wraps

I wanted headrest wraps for the CS, but could only find ones embroidered with GT/CS and I wanted California Special spelled out with stitching to match the parchment interior. I bought the wraps and took them to an embroidery shop. Apparently a little miscommunication with what I wanted as the stitching was NOT supposed to be on an angle. But that's what I have now and will have to live with it. Overall, pretty close to the look I wanted.

Thanks Doug. I purchased the wraps for $80 from here http://www.calmuscleparts.com/ and took them to a place called embroidme (www.embroidme.com). They have locations all over, and many in Ontario. They charged a little more than $30 for the embroidery, with a font called "Bermuda". I printed this picture and took it in with me to compare fonts for something similar. You can also check out www.granddesignmat.com they have couple that are already embroidered with the GT/CS, but no tan stitching.

Thanks for the comments on the angled look. I'm still trying to decide if I like it that way, maybe it will grow on me. I had the paper taped on the wrap so that the print was straight across and the paper was angled when I took them in to have them done. I don't know what happened, maybe the paper came off and they put it back on and lined the paper straight across??? Oh well, what's done is done.

And yes Jeff, I am still REALLY enjoying the car. I thought it would take a little getting used to after driving my Expedition for so long, but it didn't take long at all! I do miss all of the room I had, but this is way more fun to drive.

Parchment Headrest Wraps

I talked to a fellow name Phil at Grand Design Mat 336-613-7650 in North Carolina. I am happy with my GT/CS headwraps in parchment. The flash from my camera bleached out the actual parchment color. Phil matched my seat inserts perfectly with the parchment stiching, he is an Official Ford license vendor.

THese all look reak nice, I tried a different tack, I use a vendor call Passionautomotive out of Las Vagas. They have a great website, they have cs shifter boots, centerest covers, door handle wraps, headrest wraps, done in cs dove aberdeen leather> they look great and really spice up the interior. They look exactly like oem, you should check it out!

I like the angled script too.

Has anyone done this right on the headrest, without the leather "wrap"?
