Yup, all new. ill be the second car out of the local shop with it. not that means anything. but whatever.

a recent post on a local forum, by my friend that is tinting my car

We just got a new line of Ceramic tint as well. We have a 15% ceramic and a 30% ceramic, along with an 80% ceramic film that is called Air80, it leaves a similar color/shade to the windows that mercedes glass has from the factory. The best part about the new ceramic films that Llumar just released is their heat rejection capabilites. The 80% blue film cuts out 99% of UV rays and has the same heat rejection as a typical 15% film!

This is interesting. May I ask how much more expensive this ceramic tint costs over regular tint?

His current pricing for regular tint on my car is $200, this stuff is $300, it just costs that much more for the film.
I am not paying that much at all.

Sorry bud, but I like the "before" wheels better. Good job on removing the stupid sat antenna, but why remove the GT500 spoiler?

What springs are you getting?

I love white, I had an 05, white w/ red leather interior, an 06, white with tan interior (and a roush supercharger) - that one got totalled, and I now have an 07 GT/CS, but I've gone to the dark side... so this time around it's black

nice looking ride you have there. Where are you located Anthony? 200 seems high for tinting. How much of a drop are your new springs going to be?

I love the sounds of this stuff. Two questions:

1.) did you get yours done yet? If so, your thoughts?
2.) does that mean it has that blue-ish look to it that many Mercedes seem to have, or is it a smoke/grey/black color?

yes, my car is done, it looks pretty cool, subtle. alot of people ask whats different, hard to pick out if ou dont know what your looking for. and its just a hint of like chromealusion to it.

not blue, like a smoke, grey, black with hint of color.

im not gonna post pics till eveything is done. it will probably be hard to pick up with a camera anyway
