california special decal

I have seen some pictures of a graphic style decal "california special" for the rear left above the brake lights. Does anyone know if this is aftermarket or where to get it etc as mine does not have it.
thanks

It was on the proto type, not on the production models. We were mostly glad to not see it on our cars actually!

this is what I did, Baltamore Street Mods decal. Not too tacky, but get a alot of questions of " What does GT/CS mean?". Good opener for conversation.

Yeah, I get the same. One guy (old fart with PT cruiser) wanted to know if CS was chicken sh@#.

I asked him if he wanted to race!

I find that only the Mustang enthusiasts that know OLD mustangs know what GT/CS stands for. I don't care ...it looks cool. I have 3 old mustangs and I'd rather be driving my GT/CS convertible any day. I have 4000 mies on it. Arrived mid August and put it away just after Thankgiving. I really miss it. Hope we get an early spring.

Yeah, I am glad that proto type sticker did not come with the car. Looks ugly. I also seen the Baltimore Street Mods sticker for the brake light, was thinking about that one myself. Looks good with the white stripes, but I do not have the stripes, so I am wondering what it would look like.

Joe, I was wondering how the BSM brake light decal would look on the right rear trunk lid corner.....get it in the same color as the stock GT/CS side stripe and it would look stock.....kind of on the fence though as when it comes to decals/stripes, etc. I tend to side with the "minimalist" crowd

Yeah, I agree it would look stock. just not sure if I want to put stickers on my car. If I were to go with the stripes, I would change the black stock sticker to Silver and then add Lemans Silver stripes. But I am not comfortable doing that myself, afraid I would mess it up. Was thinking about traveling to BSM and let them do it....I like Blue and Silver.

You should have asked him if PT meant Pure Trash.
