45th Anniversary Badge on dash

Since my GT/CS is a 2009, here's what I did: I bought the left 45th Anniversary fender badge, shaved off the tabs, and put it on my dash. It just fit (*whew*). What do you think?

i dunno...i think it'd look better if the badge were a bit smaller. i'd get rid of the pony medallion on the trunk and replace it with that maybe or put it somewhere in the engine compartment.

I must agree with the size thing. I do like the emblem, though.

What "pony medallion on the trunk"?

You're right -- it would look better if it were a bit smaller. However I didn't want to mess with a custom-made badge, so I went with this one. I almost put it on the passenger side of the dash, but didn't like how it looked due to the line in it where the air bag is.

Since you asked, I have to say it's kinda big. BUT, if you like it that's all that matters anyway.

Here's your $7.00 solution:
Trim off the loop, leave the ring behind, add a little 3M tape, and you're in ...
Ford Collection

Just to give you an idea of the size, some quarters, a penny, and a dime are included in the picture.

The colors are misleading: light is from sun on a kind-of-beige fabric gazebo roof; the fob and coins are all varying degrees of shiny silver.

I used the technique to make these small badges from Terlingua Racing Team and Team Shelby key tags:

Good idea Frank! Looks like the perfect size for the dash.
