Question to fellow 2008 GT/CS orderers...were you able to get a final price of the car that same day? We couldnt because there was no price list available. All the options were entered and it was ordered. The dealer told me we would to the math after the car came in. Whatever cash back Ford was offering at the time would be applied, he would also take $1000 off himself. Am I in for some trouble when this car finally arives? Should I have already gone over this by now?

 

I ran the numbers but the dealer hasn't made me sign anything yet. When the car comes in. Hopefully mid August we will go over them again but there shouldn't be much difference. They made front seat side airbags standard. That is the price difference you will probably see in the base price premium GT.

 

Well...tomorrow (August 7th) was the proposed delivery date my dealer received from Ford. What are my chances?

 

There are prices on the computer. Though for some reason, when the DORA comes out, sometimes they don't price out the 1st time. But for a VOC, there is pricing available. Just tell him to do a CONCEPT of your order and the price will be there.

 

Does any one know what colors you can get the with 08 CS?

Are you sure all those colors will be available on the GT/CS? The 2007's did not have that many choices of colors.

 

GT/CS comes in black, white, vista blue, candy apple red, and grabber orange. Apparently it can now be had with the spoiler delete option

 

update on my order. It looks like production of mine will be next week and now the projected date is August 27th - September 1st. Getting closer... slowly I guess.

 

Mine was to be delivered Aug 7th. Any day now I hope.

 

New delivery date...August 18th, this Saturday. We shall see!

Soooooooooooo...Did you get it???

 

I haven't seen any updates on my dates since I got the first 3 from blue oval... driving me nuts.

 

NOPE!!! Didn't get it...still driving around in their EB Explorer they gave me.

The dealer tells me this past Saturday, then changes to Monday. I called Ford myself and pretended I worked at that dealership, they told me the car has no ship date yet....LOL!!!

So I have no idea where this car is and obviously the dealer doesn't either!

Thanks Jeff...thanks for all the help you have given. I guess I will keep enjoying the EB for now and having no car payment is not bad either. I should get my Stang just in time for the snow!
