My Dealer called today and said mine would be built next week, and it should be here by late August!

Falchion, My GT/CS is being built next week too! Dealer said about two weeks after that it should be at the dealership here in the Seattle area. I'm 47 and I feel like a kid waiting for Santa Claus to show up... I haven't owned a Mustang since 1989... I can't wait to drive a pony again. Take care, Marty

 

I called Ford directly (not dealer) and they said mine was being built on the 13 of August and it would be 8-10 !@#$U*%$W weeks from that day. I call BS.

Last week they told me it would be delivered to my dealer in Oregon on August 20th.

Anyone have any thoughts. how the hell could it take a production line 8-10 weeks to build a car.

The waiting is the hardest part...

 

So the update is that mine is being built on Monday the 13th of August and will be at dealer no later than Sept 5th.. We shall see...

 

Just got word on mine...the Saturday August 18th. Fingers crossed.

Where do you guys get the dates and window stickers for you cars from?

2) Click on "Vehicle locator by Ford Employees"
3) Click on " 2008 Vehicle Order Tracking", it will be a sticky thread at the top.

Then just post a thread with a subject line of "mustang tracking status", or whatever you choose and then ask if your vehicle can be tracked and give the vin number. Usually if you do it in the morning you will get a reply with the information as you have seen..


Hope that helps...and you can ask for upates as often as you want...like every couple days..etc..i usually do once a week.

 

Its actually a lil faster for a reply if you skip step 3
