2007 GT/CS Vert Cleaner??
I just purchased my 07' GT/CS on Saturday. Black ext. w/ Tan Vert. and Black/Tan Int. With Shaker1000 god I love that sound! But the question is, has anyone found a specific vert cleaner that keeps the Vinyl clean and also helps protect against sun, bird droppings, and stupid pollen!
Also now that I own this car in Black I am obsessed with cleaning it to keep it showroom condition. Does anyone also know of which Detail cleaners to use?

303 cleaner and protectant. It is the same stuff the factorys use on vinyl when they make it. Check in the search for 303 there are lists of places to buy it cheep. Boat dealers have it but charge out the wazzu for it.
Some people say there is a streaking problem on the windows as it washes off, not a major porblem just wash the windows a bit more often.

Thanks for the replys.... I have the Vinyl Tan top and I read a lot of places that when putting it down it can get black spots on the roof, and that is the last thing I want to show, so I wanted to get a cleaner to help keep it protected and clean. Do you know if the RaggTopp stuff works well with the Vinyl also and does it leave streaks on the window when it washes off like Doug said the 303 does?

That is a hell of a Drive... at least you got to break it in. Why all the way here in Tampa? I purchased mine from Brandon Ford (3rd Biggest Mustang Dealership in the US)

Long story short, I searched hundreds of zipcodes in NC, SC, GA, AL and FL for an 06 Convertible and a manual transmission. The one in Tampa was the last 06 in the Southeast with a manual transmission. I couldn't pass it up with $4k in rebates and $3k in x-plan savings. I was visting my parents in Ocala, so it was 90 miles out of my way. I have heard good and bad things about Brandon Ford, they have some nice Mustangs from Roush and such.

Yeah Micheal I know what you mean with Brandon Ford.... I get treated pretty good there my uncle is the manager there. But thier Detail shop sucks!!! As soon as I got it home I cleaned and waxed it and it looked 100 times better than what it looked like off the lot! Does anyone have a certian Spray and Wipe Detail spray they prefer for everyday use?

For the top care - Raggtop and 303, after washing and rinsing the top of course.
For everyday detailing - Mequiars quick Detailer spray or one of the "hundred" others out there, Mothers, Black Magic, Zaino, etc.
303 can be bought at West Marine stores everywhere.

I have.... er had the same top
, I do have a lot of oak trees around my house and between the leaves and acorns they both leave black marks on everything they touch. I had no problems with staining with the 303
.
Darn acorn get caught in the back section of the vert and have to clean them out all the time.
Gee, I wonder where they go if they fall down inside
.
Hey Doug when that funky smell comes it will lead you to them , that is if they don't dry out.<!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

Yep, Meguiars NXT wax and quick detailer, brought it home from Marshall Ford, filled, not washed or stripped, mats in trunk. Since new, bucket washed 6 times, waxed 5 times, never hosed, never rained on. So far, the black is still black, not scratches and swirls.....and to think we ordered white and changed the color....thanks all for the tips on the top!!!
