2007 - 2009 GT/CS Certificates
Yeah I got up at 3:30 am could not sleep. I got bad news on the job front so my mind was spinning all day. But I did have fun at the Saleen plant yesterday, Steve signed my car so it was not all bad.

Oh man, so sorry to hear that. Was it an opportunity that fell through?

I did get mine on Friday, had it coppied and laminated, and taped it the window for all to see at the Shelbyfest in Herman MO. Donald Farr Editor of Mustang Monthly was there and took some photos of it, hopefully it will make the magazine!
Hi Ron
My certificate and Ford dynasty book arrived today. Thanks for all the hard work.
The Ford Mustang Dynasty book was very nice and informative. I would highly recommend this to all Mustang owners.

Mr UPS dropped by and left the certificates-and-book parcel today. I am very pleased with all the content: the certificates are very certificate-looking, additional information sheets are informative, the Ford Racing Performance Parts 2010 catalog will be useful, and the book - well, I bet the book cost Mr Ford more to produce than the price; it's a doozy!
I'm a little amused that the box and inner packing materials are emblazoned with warnings against their use for common, ordinary, everyday ground UPS service. What the extra expense seems to have resulted in was a delivery that happened about four hours earlier than usual. Mystery to me how paying extra gets you six-day delivery, which is about the same as for ground from the same area. Seems to me Mr Ford didn't get his money's worth, transport-wise.
Nevertheless, a delightful package. Thank you Mr Ford Show Parts*, and especially thanks to Ron, who made it all come true.
*If any of the Fords are going to show us their parts, wouldn't we prefer it was Miss Ford doing the showing?

Anyone know how long the cert takes to arrive once shipped & where they are shipped form? I got a note with a UPS Tracking # and all it provides is the ship date of 4/26, I am in CT if that helps.
I suppose just like waiting for that factory order to arrive , it comes when it does I suppose, I just hope being we were charged for shipping that UPS does not try to nail me for it again !
Did you go to the UPS website and actually track it? Once it gets in their system it usually will provide a delivery date. Mine was shipped from Michigan.
You can see there is some disjunction between what UPS says and what really happens. I posted this on 04-22:
"Information sent to UPS on the 19th, picked up on the 21st, and passing through (I hope) somewhere in Illinois this morning at 0430 my time."
Looks to me as if Ford batched a bunch of known packages' information, but didn't put at least some of them out on the doorstep for a couple of days.
The UPS screen showed no changes from the Illinois thing above until 0430 04-27, when it was marked Received in San Diego and Out For Delivery at 0530. As I mentioned, it was dropped off several hours earlier than the regular delivery time.
All of which may or may not be of use in thinking rationally about the process, however unrelated to the point that might be.
