Had to jump through hoops to get this bad boy in... from a dealer in Vancouver that was crazy enough to let it go. Woodridge Ford in Calgary pulled through for me!! Took'er for a test run, and gave it the once over, and it should be getting detailed this aft so I can pick it up in a few hours...

Really happy with the black cloth top... much nicer than the vinyl and well worht the $300 xtra. The Dove on black interior is mint... looks more like granite than the pics I have been using to make this purchase. Veeeeery nice. The power passenger seat is a nice touch, and the wheels? Greeeeaaaaasy!!! The A/C blows like an arctic wind, and the exhaust is sounding sweeeet! I could go on and on... but needless to say, I'm excited! 36, and my first new car purchase. Can't believe I will be making payments for the first time in my life. Oh well... It will be worth it. I'll try and post some pics over the next few days, since I feel like I owe it to you guys. This is the only board that has been able to provide any real help with making this car purchase. I used the ebay pics to decide on the exact car I bought.

I have a feeling, the spending won't stop here.... I can think of half a dozen mods that I would like to get done on this baby right away... but I'm going to hold off as long as I can and enjoy the car as is. If I do any mods, I'll try and post the pics for you guys. I have a feeling the first one I'm going to do is get the light bar installed. I can see this car looking very greasy with a light bar.

My brother and I took a few pics late yesterday after we had put almost 300K toolin around Calgary... he's supposed to email them to me and I'll try and post them as soon as possible. Pretty impressed with the stock 500 watt shaker... and the dash set to Blue color. Looks very sweet!

Not sure if anyone has noticed... but the Dove leather inserts look different than some of the other pics floating around. The color is more of a granite than a dove, or light tan which is kind of what I was expecting. At any rate... it looks sharp IMO.

Great car!, anybody notice the speedometer In KPH, eh?

 

they do that for made to order for Canada eh ! when we were in the US I had to really look to see the small #'s under the Kilometers at least you can change on the indicator and cruise control keeps one out of trouble too.

I live in Vanc and have been going around the dealers looking for a conv CS, it looks like you beat me to this one. 5 speed, seat airbags, cloth top and the shaker 500 (which is all you need) this is one I would have got had I seen it. Now the only problem is when I order do I get Blue or Red ? as the other guy in this string with the blue CS also looks really nice.

Just a tip... there is a blue one out in Lethbridge that got some minor hail damage to the hood. They were going to replace the hood with a brand new one, and then it would be like brand new. I would have brought this car in had it not been for the fact that I could have the red one shipped in from Van in 3 days. I would have been happy with the red or the vista blue.

And yes... I did get the Family pricing... in the end it was $38,200... not including the $350.00 to ship it in to Calgary.
